    • Mania and Hypomania (These share the same symptoms, however, mania is much more severe).

      • Being unusually talkative

      • Having racing thoughts

      • Being easily distractable

      • Poor decision making

    • Episodes of Major Depression

    What are the subtypes of Bipolar DIsorder?

    • Bipolar I: Individuals must have at least one manic episode that may come before or after hympomania or a major depressive episode.

    • Bipolar II: Individuals must have at lease one major depressive episode and at least one hypomanic episode but no episodes of mania.

    • Cyclothymia: Individuals have had at least two years or many periods of hypomania symptoms and periods of depressive symptoms.

  • What are the signs of Panic Disorder?

    • Sudden and repeated panic attacks of overwhelming anxiety and fear

    • A feeling of being out of control, or a fear of death or impending doom

    • An intense worry of the next panic attack

    • A fear or avoidance of places where panic attacks have happened in the past

    • Physical symptoms including racing heart, sweating, chills, difficulty breathing, chest pain, stomach pain, trembling, and/or sweating

  • What are the signs of Social Anxiety Disorder?

    • Fear of situations in which you may be judged

    • Worry about humiliating or embarrassing onesself

    • Intense fear of interacting with strangers
